Hey guys,

I was tuning my engine and driving around when I noticed something strange. When I first fire up the engine, the truck is stationary at idle, but after driving it for like 5 it seems to be driving forwards when idling? Is the problem coming from my throttle servo or is it some kind of tuning problem.

it's probably in the servo or in the linkage. check the linkage to make sure that everything is setup correctly.( ur manual will have pics of the linkage)

Hopefully you are only tuning when the engine is good an warmed up? If not, you are chasing your tail with the tune. Likely what is happening is that when the engine is warmed up you are either idling high or running a tad lean, causing the movement.

I've noticed that on my F4.6. Could this be something related to the 'mid-tank' lean issue these Savages are prone to? When mine started acting up like the way you describe, I suspected an air leak which I'm currently addressing with high temp sealer.
