the one you linked is the same SR3000...and I believe they are all 2.4GHz...that should work fine...

anytime blazer, glad we could help.

Not all of the Rx will bind with the Txs. The newer DSM2 Rx won't bind with the older Txs. I read up on this on the Spektrum website and also was told by my LHS owner.

Hey xtreme, might want to double check it. I have the original DX2 tx running

one sr3000 rx in one truck and one sm3001 rx in another. They both binded

fine.

The sm3000 is a standard rx. The sr3001 is the pro series rx, which has an

even faster processor time. It also has a better case it is completely fuel

proof. They also make a sr3500 wich is 1/3 of the size of the already tiny sm

3000. It is also a pro series.

Do you mean the SR3100? I'll have to try and find where I read that when I have a little more time.

Here's the link to see what I was talking about. Goto page 8 where it says binding process and read the note under the picture. DSM2 Rx are not compatible DSM1 Tx. I also found that Rx you were talking about. The SR3001comes with the module to convert over to a spektrum system in other radio brands. That's why I didn't see that one, but it can be bought seperate.
