Yesturday afternoon we decided to get our new trucks out for there first bash. 4 cars running sweet. the old guy rolls his down the front, walks down tips it back over while standing on the aerial and snaps it off. after the car goes about 15Meters itsd out of range and out of control. full speed up the yard, past the trees, up the side of the dam and splash in goes a brand new car:duh:

He went and dried everything out and it seems to be ok for now.

Went and did a demo for Hobbytown last night at a local speedway. this is one pic of the several jumps I did over this car.

Heres the damage to the TVPs

The only other damage is I blew the shock caps off 2 of my rear shocks, breaking the mounting hole in one of them and snapped the shock mounting screw, not really worthy of pics. Savage TOUGH AS NAILS!!!

Tell ya allan I never really messed up the stock tvp's like that but I just got my FLM's and I will never run stock tvp's again! They are so much thicker its unreal, I don't think I will ever bend these like I did my other ones. Not to mention they look good to!

My opinion on those TVP's is based off their price being the same as Aftermarket machined billet over thin stamped poop and its just that an opinion<----!! based on price, materials, warranty. I will say that bend is nasty and the FLM will not do that in the same circumstance and the XL's will. 🙂' Allan I have X tvp's I'll give ya if you ever need them bud!! Sweet shots. :resp: I love a guy that runs his truck! Your not half bad when you fill the tank :duh: Again good stuff Q, thanks for the pokes! dang Allan....i though i was hard on my truck.......i'm starting to thik that i baby my savage aftere seeing what you guys do. the worst thing i have done is bent a wheelie bar and blew the rear shock caps off my rig. the steering stervo broke after a 40ft 40mph cart wheel....but i still drove here back to me....she just only turned one way! a Savage is the TERMINATOR OF NITRO MONSTERS.

ALLAN...tell me how you like that Axial....just put one in my Mad Force and haven't started it yet. The axial hauled butt in my Tower Terror!

Soulja, so far I really like the axial. I only have about 10 tanks through it, and it has seemed to get stronger with each tank. A very good engine for the money so far IMO.

Last night we all went out for a demo for the local Hobby Town (as seen in AllanQ's thread) here is what I walked away with. 2 bent TVP's, a broke tank, and a popped off shock. Good thing that I have parted out enough stuff that I have a couple spare sets.

Carl, we had about the same damage with the exception of the fuel tank. When I pulled the fuel tank off this morning I noticed the other TVP bent in the same place.

And to think I wouldn't have had this damage if my basher wouldn't have had electronics issues right before we went on. I have the SOCAL plates on it. I am thinking of getting a set of FLM LGC for this truck now.
