NICE DAMAGE!!! I did a similar looking one way back when with my 21. Was running the truck at the practice feild of the local HS. It was about 100-120 yards away and running towards me. I was running along a fence (WOT of course) and did'nt notice the tension wire for the power pole...guess where this is going. Imagine my suprise when my truck just flew up in the air doing airborn doughnuts. After all of that mayhem it landed right side up and still running. As i drove it back to myself I said to my buddy "whats' wrong with this picture?". I twisted both TVP's by about 3/4 of an inch. The truck was crabbing!! While trying to drive straight at myself, I could see all 4 tires!! And that is why to this day I run CF TVP's. :FarleyParty:

ya lol now my reverse is the only gear that works all of a sudden and forward is like a nutral sooo any sugetions please don't tell me i need a new tranny

Here's a picture of my truck getting some air down at Salt Run, the local riding area that I usually ride my quad at. I climbed every hill down there that I do with my quad in the main area. The savage had a hard time on a few of them, but after rolling back down from the top, she was ready for more and made it at least once on every hill.

I'll upload some video's from my dad's place, as I got 1.8gb worth of videos, and only like 5 pictures, all involving that same jump. I got about 12 feet of air on one hit (but the wifey missed with the camera I think) and landed it perfectly. I hit a backflip off the rock, and landed it, then got a double! I was about 6 feet high when I landed my double, and I know it hit HARD!

I had an absolute ball down there, and was doing some more jumping when I heard a loud grinding sound. I drove it closer to me, then saw what it was exactly. The rear differential had given out, and it was stripped. A day ender, specially after the beating it had taken. The Streamliner body held up pretty well considering the amount of hard hits it took. I did however crack it beside the window cutouts front and back, but it's not destroyed. That's all that I need. I'll fix it all up, and do it again later this year. Next big trip for it will be near the end of april!

Like I said, I'll upload some video's from my dad's house to either myspacetv, youtube, or photobucket. They are sure to make those "bash lovers" happy. 🙂

EEEKK! look at all the trees! I would be dead for sure.

Dave

Take a gander at my control guide! I've learned over the wild amounts of A-Arm pins and steering hubs on how to control my beasts 🙂 I didn't hit a tree all day, unless a roll took me there! 🙂

I had a blast, gonna go upload some vids now!

It's outside of Irondale Ohio, close to route 7, close to yellow creek riding area/forbidden zone, oaktree, and whatever else. It's a little place I ride my quad at, fun as heck for RC's too 😀

Ok,,, I used to haul coal out of Salt Run on the lower end. I live about 15 mile west of Powhatan Point. Around P-Vine, and Seven Creeks, Anderson Run. i just bought a Savage X 4.6 about a month ago and found this site about a week or so ago,, cool site.

Browns! Yeah, he's cool, but a little over "zealous". He's a good guy though, nice prices too. We should get together and bash sometime!

That's where I got my savage too. I live about 4 miles up the road from his shop! The place where I was bashing today was down from my house! And salt run wasn't ever used for coal, you're probably thinking somewhere near goose run! Salt run used to be (back in the early 1800's) a salt filled creek, where there was actually a salt refinement mill. IT's a fun place to ride and bash now. You should come down some time and check it out. The pines is where I'm headed with the savage once it's fixed. I stripped my rear differential today, so it's down for a few.

And Powhatan Point isn't that far from here. I'm just up from the First Energy Plant in Stratton/Empire. 🙂

Looking forward to tomorrow, got it fixed.. so maybe a jump will be done lol.

This is what it is all about =) it's fun to race and bash, but even more fun to buy and repair!! I am still waiting for my HPI threaded alu shocks from the US, I incurred a customs charge which I paid yesterday, so fingers crossed I will have them today or tomorrow =)

I am currently running on 8 Integy MSR8.. yes I know you guys hate them and they have had some really bad reviews.. and that is why it has taken me until now to own up to having them =) honestly though I am really pleased with them, I think that they are a little stiff at the moment though but that maybe down to the shock tower bolt being too tight. I haven't managed to roll it from turning yet, even on tarmac so the roll of the truck is really nice! only problem I have is loss of power from a standing start as I lose a lot of power from wheel spin, which I think is to do with shocks being too stiff. But I am happy =) I am thinking 1x Integy MSR8 on the 2 front sides and 2x HPI threaded alu on the 2 back sides.

How did you do this by the way..?

I love my MSR8's. I think the Integy shocks catch a bad rap because of the MSR4's and 5's. The 8's are a little stiff, but I can jump off of my house and not bottom out. I have the Goliath tires too, so it handles much better than before... as you said, no more flipping over from turning.

The MSR8's are stronger than the HPI threaded (They are twice the size in thickness). I had them before the Integy ones.

A combination of them doesn't sound like a bad idea though.
