Okay, it was a more than a little off. under statment of the year on my part.
T.T. - I had it up and running again in about 3 hours including cleanup. I race so I keep lots of spare parts.
 
Nice Carnage! Excellent job on the pin. Looks as if you were having fun, You ain't having enough fun unless you break something, You musta had a real good time.lol
 
Couple weekends ago I was out runnin the Savvy and did some more damage. Same day I hit my foot with the fusion and broke the lower A-arm. I'll try and remember to get some pics this weekrnd and post them up. Took a real hard landing on the back end upside down. And I'm guessing that my truck weighs about 15 lbs. So, I'll post post pics as soon as I can.

Because the shaft diameter is larger than the HPI HD dogbones and they are also lighter. Both of the Ti dogbones put together weigh as much as one HPI HD dogbone. I have yet to upgade the front with them. Plus do the steering mod. Too busy working on the schumacher and the monster buggy.
 
Hey guys, noobie here, just to tell you the storie of why not being able to see you truck is bad. I took my brand spanking new savage X ss 4.6 out today in the mist, ya ya i had too!!!!! anyway after driving up and down my drive i had a bit of a mishap and banged it into one of my lamppoles. Bent the dogbone pritty bad. well get u pics a soon as possible

welcome aboard savageboy!! and i know how you feel, i took my sav x out in the parking lot behind my place at night, theres lights in the parking lot but as my x got a fair ways away from me i lost sight of it then i heard bang scraaaaape!! when i found it it was wedged under a hyundai!! lol
 
That is funny about the hyundai, and sorry about your luck with the lamp post. But welcome to the forum.

i have to admit after checking over my truck "to see what damage was done" i laughed my arse off!! all i did was scrape up the engine guard and the top of the body a bit!! lol no more night driving for me lmao
 
Hey thanx for the welcome guys, this is really a great forum. Crash, thank you for the offer but i live in RSA so collection would be a little probleme. I lost the photos, SORRweeee, so i will update u guys next time. It has been misty in Hilton for the last 4 days,I'm really really getting cabinfever.

Now tell me, i would think bending some thing like a dogbone should be hard, is this a comman break?

I think you mean the hood scoop WAS actually functional on this one. Doesn't look like it's doing too much intake currently.

That's a horrible crash, and I agree with some others, it had to get hit by something else. I just don't think a 20 lb RC car can generate enough energy to do that to itself no matter what it smashed into.
 
It just looks scratched and a little dinged up. What's the big deal? Do you guys see something I don't?

EDIT- Never mind I see the turnbuckle and TVP are broken/bent.
