I was contacted by Paul at Z-CarUSA.com about testing the SH line of engines that are currently out and that they run on there buggy and Truggy kits. And I must say that after looking the engine over, running it in car and dyno testing I am very impressed! These engines are great budget engines that put out more to similar power levels of engines that cost double to triple the cost of these mills. Not only do these engine put out some impressive power they are also getting great run times as well! I cant say enough good things about my experience with these mills so far. Below is the dyno graph of the SH PT2008XB .21 off road engine STOCK and AB Modified! I will soon have more data on other SH engines that are coming out such as the 2009 version of this .21 and the .28 version as well.
To keep the test unbiased i used the standard test pipe that everyone is used to seeing tested on the X-Dyno on the .21 size engines by XRC which is a MSR1005. I'm sure this pipe isnt the optimal pipe set for this engine but to keep the test un biased and fair I used the MSR1005 for the base line.
