Sh .28 engine in savage 4.6

[H.S.I.C 4.6]

Has any one done this i tried and the motor bolts in with the stock savage motor mount but i don't have enuff slide i can get the mesh right but the motors just a tad too long clutch bell slightly rubs the spur gear is there another mount that i could try that would give me the clearence i need or any thing else? Let me know please and thanks for listening!!!

what flywheel clutch bell combo are you using?

I'm using the stock fly wheel that comes with the sh .28 motor but i did put a savage 4.6 17 t vented racing clutchbell on i mean its a perfect fit on the motor but the bell part of the clutch bell rubs on the middle part of the spur gear just barely

ok change the flywheel to the one from the motor that was in your savage and your clearance issue should correct itself

if i move the motor back like 1/8th of an inch or less it would be a perfect fit i have clearence in the back i don't really wanna slot any holes on the plate the motor mount bolts to but if i did I'm sure itll fit

ok change the flywheel to the one from the motor that was in your savage and your clearance issue should correct itself
