Savage xl with Buku pipe

I cannot find enough new info on this so my question is: Has anyone tried the buku BB pipe on a stock savage xl? I have one and have been testing it but have not found the perfect setup yet, there are so many options with this pipe. If anyone has videos or experience with these pipes I would love to here from you. I am only interested in stock savage xl 5.9 engine with the buku as I have seen just about every video of the buku pipe on other engines. thanks for any replies

I have tried several pipes and so far I like the buku the best but am having a hard time getting the bottom end dialed in . I am just trying to dial it in so I won't get taken by that split second off the start and want to be able to get the front wheels off the ground if I choose but so far cannot achieve. I know the engine has enough power. it is much easier when several people work together with there setups but so far have not seen any other people trying it. Hopefully more people will try it and post there results.

Dave from buku is supposedly developing a new cone for the big k5.9. so shoot him an email, and he'll let you know how its coming. if you already have a buku, he will send the parts free of charge.

i spoken to dave 2 months back and said that don't use ur buku with XL since he is developing one, some ppl use the cen fst pipe to let the engine breath easily

JP-6 has luanched also and you can consider it

unless if you want to change the engine to .28 mills don't use buku 🙂
