I'm in the process of moving house and had my Savage XL sat in my loft for about 7 years now and not been touched. I think I'm going to have a play with it and see if I can get it to run again although I might have to strip the gearbox down and grease it up. I'm wondering if I can get it running it's worth selling or just keep it and hope I find the time of a family/friend to donate it too. This is no Shelf Queen, it's been driven around very rough terrain.
The mods I remember:
Upgraded Servos
Upgraded Heatsink on the engine
Upgraded TVP
Upgrades Exhaust (I think)
Some custom upgrades on the turnbuckles
Custom-made roll cage (works great)
Skid plate on the bottom to protect the delicate!!
Moved the fuel tank, battery, and throttle servo to be more balanced and protected (There was a name for this back in the day).
Open to thoughts on what it might be worth if in working order. (I have a bunch of spare parts too).
