Savage x 4.6 help

hi guys I'm new to this forum and would just like to say hi. I have a good few years running nitro and electric rc cars from the age of about 11 and now being 25 haha. Now if there is any one that can help i have a savage x 4.6 big block ive had the truck for a good number of years and have just upgraded to roto start but now i have a problem with the one way pin in the crank case seems to not catch unless i push the end of the input shaft in so after meny hours of looking online and not finding anything about the pin i thort ide ask at the best place. Any reply would be awsome also I'm uk based

Sounds like something isn't put together right and sounds like the one way bearing is going bad. Can clean it with brake cleaner do not re lube it the oil from the fuel will do that, this is a temporary fix may last a few times may last a few months. Look into getting a new one way bearing.

Where should i look into getting one from as i only need the pin and spring not the hole cranck shaft

I am not sure which one you need. There are 2 different 4.6 engines F and K and 2 different start systems called Nitrostart and Rotostart.

I think ive got it only about a £5 for the pin and spring but chears for the infor lads
