savage wont start.

i got my savage last night. this morning i go to start the truck and nothing. it's the 8th tank and the flywheel doesnt move. The rotostart spins but nothing. thanks for any help.

sounds like the owb is slippin... i'd just take it out and clean it up till you can get a new one..

Definitely your OWB. Clean and soak it real good with brake cleaner. Also, I've heard that you can scuff up the starting shaft a little with sand paper. It should help give it a little bit more bite. I've never tried it and I'm sure others will chime in on it.

I tried all of and it only fixes things for short time. I ended up just buying a new one. Problem solved.

That's true. It's only a temp fix til you can get a new owb.
