Savage Vs Jato

Crash is right .. There is no way possible.. A jato weighs like 5 lbs and a savage is like 12.. No way possible
 
I read an article last year, they had a fastest rc challenge.

The fastest savage at that time was only 67 mph

the Jato can do that out of the box
 
The biggest problem is the final drive ratio. The only way I see doing it is like this.
1st cen diffs. changes final drive ratio.
2nd run a tall clutchbell ratio
3rd high speed 3rd gear on the 3 speed.
4th twin high end .21 motors. they have more usable rpms than a .28+ motor.

cross your finger because that is a lot of money to speed to lose.
 
yes i would have to agree it would be really hard to beat a jato, might be possible but i've seen a vid of a jato being clocked at like 70 mph so I'm thinking its really doubtful

lol lol lol I just might try that. I asked the question because we are down here in St.Thomas running Savages, T-maxxes, Revos Etc..... Well I invite a guy to get in on the fun. So what does he do, He goes and gets a Jato. So I was in florida for two weeks and get a call from my buddy to get the latest news on the action back home and he tells me how this fool shows up to race his jato against the REAL monster trucks that we all have. As soon as he pulls his truck out of the car my buddy asks him where he thinks he's going with that and that he sould carry it back home and bring a real truck to race. So my freind who knows better refuses to race him. However there are suckers left still in this world so, This other guy who felt that his truck was soooo fast pulls out his Losi LST and gets his ............. handed to him qiuck. Even with a 6 truck length head start :lmao: . Well I will suggest to every one if he shows back up, We should play demoliton derby with the Jato being the target that should teach him some :resp:

if you want to beat the jato w/your savy, try challenging the dude to a big air bash session & see if that settles the score
 
Cant understand the hate'n on the Jato. Theyre a kick arse truck. Not an offroad. Nothing like a Savage. Thats the point. A good addition to any collection. Check my sig. Youll see my goal is to get one of everything. The savage is still my favorite though.
 
well me personally.. i wasnt knocking the jato they fly just wont take as much abuse thats all lol
