Conrod Bearing Not Lined Up !!

Hey guys...man I am very ****ed at my savage purchase(new)...I have had so many issues I'm just fed up ... first off I had a faulty clutch pin ..wrecked the clutch up ...replaced it with new FW and clutch kit...then had a leaky fuel tank ....and now I have a fuel leak from behind the fly wheel ....my question before I pull the motor out for the 6th time.... IS there a seal behind the bearing ...or is it just the bearing ....? cant think of why it would be leaking ..?

I have run 3/4 of a gallon of nitro ...and have not enjoyed one single drop of it .... I know its just bad luck ...but the Revo sure looks nice about right now!! lol

Pulled the motor apart to get the bearing out which is leaking ...noticed the conrod bearing is not lined up with the oil journal on the rod ...I'm pretty sure that it is supposed to be lined up ..unless there is space behind the bearing to allow fuel to flow behind it ..? but I ran some wd40 down the rod into the journal and theres nothing coming out !!! anyone 100% know for sure??

Don't rule out calling HPI (don't email, you'll never get a hold of them)

Their phone customer service is very good and they are very reasonable with their warranty. You obviously are having more problems than most, maybe your motor is a lemon.

yeah ..I found a new problem after pulling the engine apart to get the leaky bearing out ...I got burned big time on this purchase ...

i had my engine in and out probably 20 times this winter. never ran a drop of nitro.

Definitely call HPI. They are actually very good with their warranty and do stand behind their products.
Had a bad trans due to a failed c clip and they upgraded me to a 3 speed.
Definitely worth your time.
