Savage roll cage, hpi102526?

Got my roll cage mounted (hpi102526) and i see it comes with updated fuel tank mounts which i like but i don't know what the big round cups are for someone said something about for the roto start but it doesn't make sense to me does anyone have any insight on this here is a pic with the cups.

hopefully the pic shows but if not just google the part number and go to images you will see it.

Only found a video on youtube where the guy linked to a forum discussing them, but the link is dead. Also said they are "rotostart guides to keep the shaft from slipping out and hitting the tank" or some such.

Since I used a rotostart for about 6 minutes on my X (then installed a pullstart LRP), I don't understand what they are or what they do.

Yeah according to hpi those do not apply to the savage trucks, so just launch those in the trash unless you want to figure out which vehicles they work on.
