Some things have been changed, but it is likely a Savage 25. That is a Nitro Star S-25 engine. Assuming the block is black, not gray.

Not a Nitrostar S-25 (They had a purple cooling head..)
May be F4.1 or F4.6.
But looking at the Savage I say it is a 25 with some after market stuff on it.

It looks purple, just really faded.

This will be really easy if the OP can read what is on the block.....

Hmm. Looking at the pictures I say it is gray. But it could be faded.
But I still think it is an F4.1.

Nitrostar S25 has 11 fins and the F4.1 has 12..

The block looks black. It has 12 fins and the cooling head is gray. I have anther turn of events. I started it but the motor is turning backwards I think. I was spinning my drill counterclockwise to turn the motor over. I am guessing the owb is in backwards??

F4.6 .

The drill has to turn counter clockwise to start the engine..
Yea I had it turning counter clockwise but under throttle it would go in reverse. So would the transmission cause that? Plus I am fairly new to monster trucks. Do all the steering servos suck? They can barley turn the tires back and forth. What is a good servo to use?

Hmm. The transmission wouldn't cause that.
To be sure, if you look at the clutchbell from the front it has to rotate counter clockwise.
Has this happened once or several times?

Stock steering servo's do suck.
What servo do you have?
May also be that the servo saver is loose.. Check the spring.

So I have a Savage X 4.6 and the one I just bought off of facebook. The clutch bell turns counter clockwise on both of them only the 4.6 goes forward and the new one I just bought goes backwards??? lol Ideas?

Cant tell from your pic, but is it possible it has a reverse module on the transmission and that is in reverse not forward????

Model doesnt matter too much, most savage parts fit and as long as it runs bash the crap outta it until something else breaks
