hi guys i got a savage 3.5 i cant seem to get it to start i had to replace the 1way bearing as it was slipping on the shaft but still no change i put a brand new glow plug in an that didnt do anythin, i got a new exhaust coming 2moz as the 1 thats on there the ******* broke for the return to the tank don't no if this would cause it not to start but needs replacing anyway, the glow starter is doing its job... any help much appreciated.

also the guy who had it before me was running it on 16% as he says it was easyer to start I'm useing 25% all i want to do is get it going so i can fine tune it but I'm getting no where on the starting stage.. 🙁

The broken exhaust my be the cause of it. Reason bein is that it's a pressurized system and needs the pressure from the pipe to push fuel to the carb. Are you priming the system before you try and start it? Also, since your switching fuel %, reset the needles back to factory then lean out the LSN 1/4 of a turn and the HSN 3/4-1 full turn. Also, what heat range plug are you usin?

i got it going of great last lol i took the head off and checked the gasket and the bolts were loose so put some loctight on them an done them up an she startd within 2 seconds on the roto, think its a medium plug I'm useing cant quite remmember with out going out to the shed to have a look at the packet.
