i purchased a savage 25 back when it was new and used it for a little but had a family and such and as a result it has sat for quite a while. since the family is finally a bit older i am finding that i have some time to play with it again and a local neighbor seems pretty good with them.
i havnt done much to it except change out parts to make it more like savage x, added reverse, changed exhaust to ribbed pipe.
the issue that i am having is difficulty getting it to start and seems to be going through quite a few glow plugs. temperature when running seems to be between 200-300 which i think is okay.
id like to know which glow plugs you would recommend for just playing around (no racing, just running it in a dirt field, never have full throttle for more then a few seconds) any other tips are greatly appreciated.
