savage 25 nitro engine missing

Hello everyone I just picked up a savage 25 for free the guy was going to toss it in the trash!! It needs a couple bolts here n there n it needs a engine! I've been doing research on nitro engines for it n it seems like the lrp .28 is a very good option For this truck! But what I was wondering if I would have to do any modification for it to fit? And will I have to upgrade anything else draive shafts gears ect? Any advice knowledge shared is very appericated thanks

LRP is a GREAT ...
as for upgrades to the Savage 25 platform. I would have to say the differentials and possibly the gears in the transmission, anything plastic as for diffs and gears should be changed out due to the high power of that engine....

Look at A Main or RC Planet for parts most are stocked by them and priced not too badly either.....
