hey guys anyone on here who drives on sand and beach wat do u do to pred and clean after as i do it alot and was woundering wat other people do?

Personally, I just shack the crap out or it tipping and tossing in all different directions to get as much as possable off then I blow it off with an air compressor, then lastly soke it with a water, simple green, and Denatured alcohal with a touch of WD40 and blow it off again with the air compressor. However I don't run it real fine sand very often either. I would also take apart the truck expecially the bulkheads and clean them well every once in a while. Make sure the drive cups are clean as well or they or you dogs will wear quickely.

and as far as cleaning I agree with Larsen, air is best. I also like to seal the skids around diff openings with silicon.

Thanks Pine, I am ordering a couple ofthose. I always run in sand too, (everything, I mean everything here is sand here) I have had to wash filters in soap and water to get all the sand out, and still I am not 100% sure if I get it all.
