Rx box problem.

I'm using an IRC midtank mod and the way its designed is the rx box sits underneath the tank but its only big enough for a micro rx, i can get my rx to fit inside if i take off its outer casing, if i use my rx in the box without the case and make sure its waterproof would it be safe?

Ya that should be no problem. Remember the stock box isn't waterproof at all. You can wrap a ballon around it to something so you don't have to worry abou it.
