ok i don't know what is wrong but my savage 25 with a k4.6 wont stay running like not enough fuel is getting to it. it stalls and wont start than i prime it lots than it will start than i go up the block and back and it will shut off again now i have plenty of fuel going to the motor still the same problem

lean the high speed needle 1/6 turn (the needle with the big brass neck. When it starts does fuel spit out the exhaust? is there a lot of smoke> If no try richining the High speed needle (HSN) 1/8 turn till it runs good. Let us know how it goes!

you can plug all of your openings wiht the engine out of the car, bip it in a sink, accept put a piece of fuel tubing on the fuel nipple, and blow into it, any leaks bubbles will come out.

don't put the hole motor in you can ruin and sease the motor do not try that just the carb
its just my .01 of this

i have done this at least 4 times submerged, if you don't get water in it then your fine, if you get water in it, flush it out with some WD-40, fuel, or after run oil. don't do it wile running, just have the engine, plug all holes accept the fuel one with the fuel line, blow into the fuel line, and bubbles will come out where there is a leak.

didn't have to do it found out the problem for some odd reason the mid range needle was 5 turns off factory setting fixed now tho thanks for the advice guys
