Rev Problem

I have tuned my xl in pretty good but when i rin it to full throttle then let off it doesnt seem to wanna rev back down to idle. ive messed with the idle a ton but still cant seem to get it to stop doin it. any suggestions?

Only thing i can think of is:
1: A possible air leak, but it would have inconsistant idling and it would eventually run hot.
2. One of your needles still needs a fine touch

If you have watched the linkage and made sure its not hanging up and the carb is opening and closing freely than I would check the tune next. If the engine is too lean it will take longer for the idle to come back down after a high speed run.

If the linkage is working correctly and the Carb slides back in completely with ease.

A common cause to this is a lean HSN.
