I am having trouble removing the flywheel nut on my engine. Also do i need a puller to remove the flywheel.

The glow plug wrench should be the same size as the clutch nut.
I used a large flat head screw driver to carefully loosen the flywheel. You can also tap it lightly from behind till it pops off.

Just learned it recently myself, was doing it the hard way for a long time, lol

Just get a puller. There are plenty out there, and once you have one you'll wonder why you didn't get one sooner.

here is the one i use

its from auto zone

I use a battery terminal puller...This one:

The arms are thin enough to fit under the flywheel. Works great!

Got one from NAPA today, The flywheel popped off easily with a loud crack. Now I can port and polish the crank and drill it out to add fill. Is the gasket for the front seal supposed to be attached to the flywheel, When I removed the flywheel I was able to see the balls in the front bearings.
