hi guys,
I have just bought an rd logics twin exhaust for my savage, I have fitted the manifold and the spring but it is insecure and easily moved. however there are to long attachment poles (i guess to secure it) but were do there attach on to?
thanks.

frazier ive never really seen anyone use this pipe before. can you post some pics so we can help you figure it out?

take some digital photos and load them onto your computer. then you can upload to the gallery here and link into your thread.

this is the exhaust.

ok, in the pics you posted (small pics to the right of the big one) i can see that the wire bent around and bolted to the shock mounting bolts then secured to the mounts on the top of the pipe.

yes, that correct but I will post my photo in a minute and you will see that it is straight and longer.

ok, looks like an easy fix to me

you got those wires in backward. you want to rings to bolt onto your shock bolt to secure the wire, then slip the pipe over the other end and your done.

you might need to do a little bending of the wire to get it right. you might also need longer shock bolts if yours arent long enough.

ps, where is your rear bumper and skid plate?

okay I will try that thanks for the help and I took the bumper and skid plate of to fit it easier.

might be a good idea to get the skid and bumper back on there. keep the junk out your diffs and also if/when you land on the rear, there is nothing to protect that pipe from taking the full impact.

Wait till you fire it up with that exhaust on!! lmao there a really loud pipe man, i have tried one!!

If i remember correctly you do have to bend it like it is in the pics but I'm not 100% sure anymore it was a few years ago that i tried that one

hi Freddy,
I have tried to bend it by heating the pole and bending it with pliers and a vice. and it just feels as if it going to snap.
should i carry on?
or do you have a better way of bending it?
thanks for all of your help,
Fraser

idk fraz,

wish i could be more help but ive never physically seen that pipe or mount. i think heating it is a good idea tho.

well I will ask the seller who i bought it of as it was used, so I will see if or how he used it. thanks for your help if any one else nows any more info it will be greatly appreciated.
thanks
