you might want to consider a good battery charger. the same happen to me with my hump pack caz i had it on the charger all night long but the battery wasnt chargin & i had no way of knowing.

that large-capacity battery is only as good as the charge you put into it 😛eace:

i think 4500 sounds a bit overpowered... but maybe thats just me 😉

its not power like voltage, more like capacity as in it could power your glow plug almost 3x longer than a 1600mah with the same voltage rating.

But,

any battery is only as good as the charge you put into it & the charger that you use to charge it 😛eace:

So wouldnt the overnight charger thats supplied with the glow starter be up to scratch then?

Just curious because i like the idea of having a longer lasting glow starter but don't wanna waste my money if the supplied chargers are lemons.

i would like to know about the charger u get with it too, all i know is that the guy at the LHS said the charger that comes with it has NOT got an auto shut off and he charges his over night...

the wall charger WILL put a charge on the battery. However, you have no way of knowing when the battery is fully charged, or where it stands in the charge cycle for that matter.

Also, you have no way to know if the battery is even taking a charge even if you leave it on the charger for many hours, see my post #4 above. I had a bad experience & then invested in a hyperion 606i & get max usage out of my lower-capacity batteries. i will be getting some higher capacity now that i have a good charger tho :jamout:
