That's what a cop told me at 11:30AM today. I'm just messing with my truck out front like I always do. Got about a good 1/2 hour of some ripping around before the cop showed up. The guy was real cool.. Commented on the truck " looks like fun" he said. But told me to take it somewhere else. Let me just say.. Neighbors SUCK!

Anyone else got lmae neighbors?
 
Me... i hate it when they call the cops b4 asking me. any ways i still don't care =) I wait till 1pm to run my nitros so that every one is awake and legally i can run it till 12am (i never do) so the cops are like awesome truck then I'm like want to give it a spin? then day crash it and hand the remote to me =) then they leave and i just continue bashing =)
 
they watch me play here. I can run it from 7am till 10PM b4 and after that I have issues
 
do you live in a condo by chance Jr? i had one with my mrs. before we got married, i can go on & on & on & on.....

Yeah townhomes... A lot of haters on my block.. Like the only people I really talk to is Mr/Mrs. Flux ur couch... All the rest are real WANKERS.
 
JR i c the brit in u is coming out =P Wanker is such a ... whats the word I'm looking for its not posh but something else any one care to fill in the blanks?

BTW: i suggest u research the laws of your city about sound some people even said it was illegal for me to run my truck in a public area.. (i know bunch of tards) if you look up your local laws no one can bully you around not even the cops
 
In the UK w#*ker is considered bad language, the same as the F word etc. but yea i had the parks police come round to me in the park the other day while bashin, they just drove by slowly saw i wasnt doing any harm and carried on on their way, there was a couple of moody dog walkers a few minuits earlier that gave me filthy looks, i reckon they called the cops.

Most people and dog walkers are fine with it, alot of dog owners love their dogs chasing the Savage up and down the park when normally their dogs would be lazy but you always get the odd grumpy old so n so who frowns upon what your doing and thinks your breaking some kind of law
 
you don't need to know the local laws. all you have to do now is start calling the cops on your neighbors when they fire up their lawnmowers at 9-10-11am on the weekends and see how they start liking that. 11am in a townhome or not is not an unreasonable time to run your nitro.
 
People always seem to think we are jerks for some reason and always approach you with an attitude. People should rember a little comon courticy ask me nicely to do something, be willing to see both sides and come to some kind of an aggerment and when things are reversed I will do the same for you. This is even more important when you are in the same neighborhood. Who wants to have bad relationships with the people you have to see everyday.

i took it one step father then calling the cops on the lawnmower man i took out the side cutters and snipped his spark plug wire at 8am then looked at him and said by the time you can get the parts for that the rest of my house will be awake

where we live has some super lame noise ordinances. by running his car he has violated public peace, safety, and morals. so pretty much if it disturbs someone and/or you can hear the noise 50ft away it is a violation. if you sneeze too loud you can prolly go to jail...:nono:

but yet its ok for a bonehead neighbor to have the weedeater blasting at 6 am, go figure................
 
I've had the cops at my house more than once. Same pain in the butt neigbor. Cops alway say cool truck and I'm not doing anything wrong.
It's good to hear I'm not alone.
 
I have had cops come here for lots of noise related issues, have never been fined or arrested yet though...

DI Bombs
Car Audio
Cars with no legal exhaust
Burnouts down the driveway etc...


Never once for my savage though, my neighbors seem to like it and it confuses me... crazzy
 
I'm actually a little lucky here. My apartment complex has noise rules, and my city has noise ordinances, but Ohio law takes precedence when it comes to 1:1 car exhausts. I had a downstairs neighbor complaining about noise from upstairs(me and my bro just walking around quietly). Well, their apt. is behind my garage downstairs, so I just took to backing my car in and letting my very loud exhaust resonate for a minute or two before shutting it down and closing the door when I come home. Management got sick of them, told em to stop wasting their time, and I finally told em that if they shut up about us "stomping around the place", I'd stop backing my car in and out of the garage at 3am...
