20220317_002159.webpI picked this up used many years ago. It is real fast. Came with a Goodwrench #3 stock car body. I want to say it is home made. Any ideas?

Oh and it has no reverse gear!!!
Many of the early racing speed controls did not have reverse as it was not allowed to use reverse in a racing environment. as for the car, it does have a homemade look to it but in the early days of RC there were quite a few cars built like this. are there any marking on the plastics or motor mount to give you a hint on its past? the front beam axle is kind of like ones used by Composite Craft, Lynx or maybe Associated or Bolink, either way it would make a nice piece for ones collection when it is all cleaned up...

Nice ! That is an old advanced engineering car. I bought one as a young lad new when they first came out in the 80s mine had a twister in it as well direct drive. Wish I still had it !
