I found a chip on my piston, I am trying to attach a pic of it. I am not sure if it is junk, or can I still use it??

I have the piece, I took the whole thing apart because the pin for the roto-start got wedged between the conecting rod and the block......F*#ed up and did not put the spring in it, and it fell out.

Or scar the sleeve more than it already is. I would smooth the area a little first before trying it.

it going to get real bad i had that happen to my k4.6 and the whole bottom of the piston started chipping all the way to the ports in the piston

I cant tell from pic but, if that is the exhaust side of piston it will effect timing
and the engine may be hard or impossible to tune
