Got this from Robin aka PureNitro aka Extreme RC Mods, Thanks Robin

to make a muffler for your tuned pipe:

take a small spray can and drill hole in top slightlly smaller size as your exhaust deflector. drill a 8 mm hole in the bottom of can.
stick can over your deflector and zip tie can to your chassis.

I did fire it up in the shop for a minute to see how much difference it made.

It seems to be 50% quieter than before, this is on a macs pipe which is stupid loud with a exhaust deflector on it.

i seen the difference in your video yesterday..macs ftw. Me being a non modded picco owner i can tell the difference from yours to mine.. lol. kinda makes me sad.

:dunno:

its funny to see this as thats what we used to do with our "clunker" dirt bikes if you lost the silencer, was alot quieter and helps build up more back pressure i think!!!

When you make the vid with this silencer can you include one of the other vids without it in the same post?

got to do some testing with the can

I added a piece of steel wool to help dead'n the sound.

There is still plenty of power left using the silencer.

This is a great tool to have if you don't want to aggravate your neighbors, I will definitely go back to no silencer when I'm away from home. My neighbors are a pita

thanks fred
don't let me slack on my threads................lol
Ill get some video soon, we have alot of snow on ground rite now

I like this idea but I also like performance!
Does anyone know if the included cone for the Savage X that silences the exhaust hurts performance or not?

off topic, but

if you're talkin bout the stock plastic X rtr pipe its more a muffler than a tuned pipe.

if your lookin for performance, then get rid of that pipe all together & get a tuned pipe.

rockout slayer rockout

Thanks BR

hard to tell in video but, with the silencer its about 50% quieter with little power loss im0

getting nice out, time to get serious about our hobbies 🙂
