picco p3 pullstart broke

hi guys,
juz my luck. wanted to start my savage 2day n the pullstart broke. I'm using the picco p3 modded. i hav a spare hpi k4.6 mill. can i use the k4.6 pullstart on the picco p3?

check the spooler if you pulled your string through, I found that my picco 28 rope likes to pull through the plastic spooler. if thats the case drill a 3/32 hole about a 1/2 away from the old one same as the factory hole and restring. if you broke your string well......re-string it.

just get a new string. what you do when you restring them this simple, tie the new string on, wind it up, while making sure not to unwind the spring unwind the string only. once the string is all the way out make sure there are no twists in it and let the spring wind it back in.
