To make a long story short I knew the rig was gonna sit for 3 weeks so I tore it down not wanting to use aro and gave it a nice wd40 rinse down, took the piston and sleeve out rinsed it down, let the excess drip off and put it all back together, replaced my header coupling and now 1st run today is problems, no power have to run it at a very high idle for it to keep running but temps sitting around 230 and I have a good amount of smoke, played with the needle settings due to the humidity and called it quits after 3 tanks. I have a clean air filter, my tranny gears and diffs are in excellent condition, the mill cuts out when brakes are applied, it wont idle at a normal setting and at wot it goes about 10mph.....any thoughts? could it be bad fuel? running 25% trinity monster thats 60 days old max.

Have you checked to make sure your really at WOT? With air filter off, and not running, when you give it full throttle is the slide opening all the way? Same with the brake, that carb linkage could need some adjusting. This is probably a stupid suggestion, but when I'm stumped, I go back to the basics.

my linkage is fine. carb opens and closes like it should. Robin do you think the wd40 could have anything to do with this mill running the way it is? I have a medium turbo plug in there with 4 tanks on it. I swapped it out for a brand new one and still have the same issue. I ripped down the mill last night and there are no signs of rust, my conrod is facing the correct direction, and there isn't any moisture or debris in the mill. it is however still very very slick from the wd40 even after burning almost 3 tanks

i agree with all...check your batteries to make sure the servo is really open....make sure they aren't weak. check the throw on the radio too. are you keeping your fuel in a cool spot? my buddy ryugaiden05 left his fuel in a hot place and he'll tell you how hard it was to even get his truck to run!

my batteries and servo and carb are properly setup. my fuel is at room temperature. I cleaned it out with nitro clean and oiled my bearings with after run but haven't had a chance to run it due to work. will update you guys on sunday
