one way bearing

Do i need to replace the one way bearing in the back plate? It doesn't turn most of the time anymore.

if the oneway is bad then i would say yes replace it. its it stuck on the shaft, like it wont let go, if thats the case you can get it unstuck and oil it up and keep using it till you get a new one, but if it just isnt gripping at all then you just have to replace it.... either way yes replace it..

You can also take it out clean it out very well using Brake clean and drop a drop of Motor oil on it (Not synthetic) and put it back in. It more than likely will work some but I to recommend replacing it, at least getting a new one for a spar cuz this will only help the problem not solve it.

check your one way bearing first if its bad then change it if not just clean it
