well my one way bearing went and was looking around for a lil more i can get a pull start with the bearing. Is it worth going to the pull start over the roto start?

Welcome!
Great debates on what one is better-I like pull because I can feel motor and if it doesn't start I know something is wrong.
With Roto it's too easy to keep on trying and you have to carry with you.
I don't think a new pull start comes with a one-way though.

i had seen kits on eBay awhile back for the pull starts and only a few didn't come with the one way. any particular make of pull start better then another?

The only differences I have ever seen is 3 or 4 bolts holding them on-4 is better but I don't know who makes them-I'm sure other members will help here.

I like the pullstart for bashing best. I switched back to the roto for racing but I know I will end up regretting it.
Depending on what engine you have you can use the Axial .28 pullstart and I have had great luck with them. Otherwise the HPI ones arent that bad.

I just switched from roto to pull-start and I'm loving it. It's a big plus not having to carry the rotostart unit around, not to mention the extra battery to charge.

Another plus is that the pull-start is MUCH easier on the one-way and the backplate!
