I see the term "noob" used alot around here and it is often used incorrectly.

A "noob" is not the same as a newb. When someone is new to something they are a newb. Anyone can be a "noob" as a noob is someone who doesn't understand anygiven subject in our case savages but pursues it without the desire to inprove. A "noob" will never ask for help but insteed try it without any idea of what to do and in all likly hood destroy whatever they are working on. A "noob" will also refuse advice. He is the guy who doesn't read the directions, Doesn't break in their new motor, who deceides to mod their own motor without any idea of what they are doing.

We are all newb's at some point but I have yet to see a "noob" on this site. By coming here and joining the HPISF family you are saying that you want to learn which means you are not a "noob". Noobs would have never bothered because they don't care to learn anything.

Thank you for reading this.

Great point although I'm sure the intention is the same from people whether it's spelled noob or newb. Either way, you are right because people come here to learn from ex-newbs so they can shed their newb status lol. I for one didn't know the difference but thanks for pointing this out bud.
