My truck is running bad When I bought it I did the proper run in and then I tuned her up to where it was faster than heck (on the noob scale). Anyway, I managed to strip the spur gear after a 20mph cart wheel and so I thought it would be wise to upgrade to a 49T Integy gear. Basically, I got it installed correctly (i think) and my truck sucks now. I have messed with adjusting the slipper clutch for better results and its still slow. The gear mesh is also correct, I checked this twice. I used to barely touch the gas and flip it on its lid, now WOT still goes but doesnt even raise a wheel. Unacceptable! SO...WTF DID I MESS UP? HELP!!

Have you tried returning the engine to stock settings and re-tuning?

Is your slipper clutch nut tight/slipper clutch pad worn?

Are the clutch shoes worn?

If you running a steel spur then you need to use a vented clutch bell, are you still using the stock bell? Maybe your clutch bell has overheated due to using the steel spur on a stock clutch bell and shot the stock plastic clutch shoes?
