Hello,I'm new to this forum. I was wondering if anyone can help me out? I just purchased a new O.S. 30 VG for my Savage. I have a Tsais (category 3 dual exhaust). Fuel, i have Blue Thunder 20%. What would be the best fuel to run? Also what is the best break in procedure for it. I read the manuel and it says to start it with the wheels off the ground, and then it jumps and says to run the car on the track for one tank of fuel. If anyboby can just give me a simple break-in procedure and a recommended fuel it would be greatly appreciated. I checked the search and found that there are so many diffrent break in's for diffrent engines. Thanks:Xfingers: P.S. i live on the south side of Chicago... so the weather is still pretty cold out (40-50 degrees). Thanks again.:duh:

I would try to sell that pipe you have and get something different .. dual exhaust is a joke for performance (looks good) performs like crap ..

I would use 30% fuel for the engine and do what that manf says to do when breaking in engine

you can use the stock header for the buku or get an aftermarket one. it doesn't come with a header. yes you can break in the motor with the buku. I run 30% in my os. I use O'Donnell in mine. I do not like blue thunder to much oil. if you run the os with the buku you will have to go up on the clutch bell do to the extra power. I run a 47/20 and it still wheelies. try a 47/19 first see how you like it. are you running a 3 speed? check the manual again but i do believe you do 1 tank off the ground than you run 6 tanks on the ground not hitting full throttle. after each tank you turn the high speed needle a 1/16th of a turn.

wheelie bar will help. i do not like the robinson spur and cb. they are heavy. more rotating mass than needed. your going to rev very high with that ratio. that is a 3.71 ratio. you will need to drop that a good bit to 3.0 to 2.35. Your not going to see the performance if you don't.

AWESOME!! Thanks for all the help Megabyteme! I'm going to switch gear ratio, fuel and try to get the Buku pipe. If anyone can think of anything else (advice) it would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks again.
