Nitro to petrol?

I was just wondering if any body had tried these conversion kits?seriously consdering buying one but would like peoples experience before splashing out.

I've seen talk about it, but never actually seen it done. Can you post up the kits you are talking about?

After a long day reading andsearching managed to find a British company selling the whole kit for less than 70quid but cant post the link.

A company on ebay is selling basically converted nitro engines for around £200 and it was that gave me the idea to see if you could do it yourself

Looks like those are mainly for aircraft.....

After using 2 small gas engines, the GTC15 and Dynamite .31 I don't think I want another. Glow engines are simpler and make more power to weight.

I know that but the principal of the engine is the same as a car engine and with the cost of nitro fuel and the petrol engine nearly 90℅ more efficient than nitro might be worth a try for 70quid.i think the only reason you couldnt convert them years ago was because no one manufactured small enough spark plugs.(done a lot of reading to today)

I might order one of these kits when the wifes not watching and try it on an old kyosho subaru with gx12 engine not risking the Savage(yet)

Thanks for posting that @paulnewman I checked quick and mostly for planes, would be interesting to see one done in a vehicle .... so if ya have luck with your conversion @pammy please post up results....
