nitro shutoff

I saw on amazon that there is a kill switch for the savage. anyone know if this is better than alternative methonds and how it works? it looked like a lever.

I assume you mean the safety shut off? It works well. It just bumps the flywheel to stop the engine. I have it on my savage.

I use this as well. It came standard on the 2012 ltd edition savage, works great.
