Hello i am pretty new this the gas rc cars. I was wondering what fuel is best for my .25 engine in my savage. I have a gallon of 15% that i have been using but i was told it is making my engine run to hot. The guy said that i should use 30% and it would make it run better. Also what glow plugs should i use in my truck. Thank to everyone who helps. Corey

i wouldnt bother going as high as 30% for a sav 25 myself, i would think 20% would be ideal for that situation i have the 4.1 and am still running 20% and temps are consistent... i run sidewinder backyard basher myself and have had no problems..... and as far as plugs go what are your outside temps roughly? like if its -20 your gonna need to run a hot plug lol under normal temperatures "spring, summer" i just have been using the hpi r4 glow plug in the 4.1 which is a med cool plug but wouldnt be suitable for cold weather so you would go to a hotter plug.. sorry i cant give you more info on this as i haven't had to mess with the glow plug for while lol someone here will be able to help better I'm sure!!! and if i haven't said it already welcome to the forum my friend!!!

20% would do you good, I run 30% in all my stuff just to get the extra kick out of it. With 20% fuel you can run anywhere from a hot to a medium plug. It will run better with hot or med/hot plugs. If you jump to 30% to get the extra power you should run a med to cold plug. I find when running my 30% Byron Gen II which I highly recommend that a med/cold plug works best. Just my .02.
