new mill

alright guys, i am looking for a new engine. its between an axial .32, the lrp z28r spec 3, or wait for the 5.9 to lower in price. i have a lcg extended tvp, and goliath tires, and i want to be able to think i can pull a wheelie. i running a 14/52 right now, and it may not be fast, but the 4.6 can almost pull the tires up. i need to get it tuned right and it may get a small one.

wheelies and torque are very important to me, i know it may seem stupid, but i like rippin wheelies down the road.

any suggestions:? different motors, gearing, or anything else? let me know.

I say the LRP. I have heard very little bad things about them, and they're not terribly expensive for what they are. I hope to be getting one soon myself.

I just got the Axial 32 you can see just how strong it will be once its been broken in. I'm at my 3rd tank and its pulling wheelies at factory settings. 13LBS Savy!!! Excellent Mill Cheers!!:beer:

this engine debate is killing me. my lhs has the axial 32 on the shelf, and if i can get it there for the same as a lrp from smf, I'm going axial. but if not, prolly gonna get the axial from smf, cus they have a special on it or somethig like that

I know how you feel! I had the same problem between the Axial 32 and the LRP so I got both lol but it didn't come with out a huge price between me and the Miss lol

I have the Axial .28 (several actualy) and they are a great engine. The .32 will give you the same top speed as the .28 but will get you there much quicker. (info from Axial direct)

well according to my lhs's website, its a $185, which is 20 over what smf wants... I'm gonna see if they will price match.

I'm thinking the same Dread, if my mill does have a problem, I'm probably gonna end up with an Axial or LRP, not sure, gonna check the LHS for prices tommorow. 🙂

ya so am i but my stock 25 keeps right up to par with a 32 axail sooo I'm quite content till i put a rod throught the side of the block its staying in there lol
