I thought I had it tuned using "BYRON FUEL" 16%Nitro / 12% oil. I was convinced to try MERLIN 25% nitro / 12% oil and everything is messed up!! When the engine has a 'good' sound and performance, the temp goes over 110 oC. As I tried to ritchen, I got too mutch smoke and engine bogs. Any ideas? Should I stick with BYRON? Does more nitro give higher temps? Ambient temperature was 12 oC. How high on temp can I get without ruining my engine? Any ideas?

Thanks

135 c or 275 F is still safe for most mills but at the top of the range. 110 C is average running temp. Use byrons 25% race gen 2 Nice stuff but the 20% runs nice too. 16% is a lil on the lame side. 30 is not needed

I would stick with the same fuel you broke it in with. go with a 20% blend. if you want to try a different fuel try it when you change mills. just don't switch it to top fuel 😛
