hai morning everyone.. yesterday i just goes run with my frenz with my savage nitro star s25 engine ~ but after few run and i stop my car there.. around 5min and the engine stop.. it can start again well i know that is the plug dead already.. so i bring back home...

then i open the plug.. i found that it dead.. also WAT THE HELL is THOSE tiny MEtal pieces ? it around my engine ? and it alot of black colour oil.. donno wats tat.. so i planning to rebulit..

then the work begin

1 remove the engine from the truck
2 remove heat sink.
3 remove the rotoplate and also the backplate.
4 ok here i stuck.. the sleeve CAN'T movE ?!?!?!?!?!?!? Ohh my god.. i can't take the piston out if the sleeve can't remove..
5 then i try to use a cable tie to prevent piston damage.. and put it over the sleeve ~ and turn the shaft ~ but wat happen ? the sleeve just DAMN tight .. the cable tie snap in to half.. then i figure out another way...
6 my mistake way.. i take a allen key.. cover by tisu.. and block the piston between the sleeve ~ then i turn the Shaft again.. THEN OH MY GOD !! the piston scretch abit !!! :duh:
DUH ~

help wat shall i do now ? how can i take the sleeve of ? >.< :duh:

Try to go through the exhaust on the engine block use a allen key and get on the edge of the sleve then push up with that if still no luck remove everything from the engine that has a gasket ie. back plate carb and flywheel clutch set up then bake the engine to try to get the sleeve to come loose. Hope all works out i just had a bolt break of in mine so i feel the pain also.

bake in oven at 325*F for 20 minuets, Grab with oven mit and try again with the allen wrench or somthing flatter with more area against both.

yeap oven.. but my oven spolit already :duh: can i use fire and burn my engine ? will it help ?

ic ic ... what actually cost the small tiny metal ? in my engine ? that will spoilt my engine rite ?

it seams to the issue with the 25 i tryed to get my modded dleeve out and would bulge. try the oven triclk or heat gun

do not use the lighter it does not disperse the heat and there is no way of controling the tempature of the block as everyone else said if anything go to a friends and use their oven or try a hair dryer.

I would not use anything metalic to push out the sleeve. I just use the handle of an old toothbrush which I use for cleaning. With the backplate removed, you can push on the bottom edge of the sleeve at an angle. Be careful not to damage your piston skirt or your con rod. Once the sleeve starts to move, you can then just pull it out with your fingers. I do this without any heat.

use a few zip ties. put the zip ties through the exhaust port and up threw the block then turn the engine over using the flywheel... it should push the sleeve out

sounds like he tried that, and a allen key........lol

yea i try even my BIGGEST mistake i EVER make ~ use the allen Key.... @#$%^&*((((((((*%*&#$(@ :duh:duhhhhhhhhhhh...

finally i give out.. to prevent more damage...

here is how it look

i just remove all the small piece of metal crap out of my crankcase..
but if my piston become like that it will effect my perfromace rite ?

izzit normal that engine will lost abit compression after rebuilt it will become better after i re break in ?

You should "NEVER" "EVER" use anything stonger than "PLASTIC"or"WOOD" inside an engine, if you can't achieve your goal with this, "STOP"... Alen keys inside an engine, that's just nuts.

wut to do the sleeve just doesn't come out... duh......
so i cover the allenkey with fuel line.. it still happen lol

If you can't get the sleeve out with zip ty's, use some sort of wood like a piece of clothes pin or chop sticks, anything realy. Heat the block, use gloves and as a last resort put a wrench on the clutch nut to help turn the engine over. If you come in from the exhaust port you will only be able to "break it free" if you come in from the top, you can push it right out. I have had to work on alot of engines with tight sleeves, maybe not as bad as yours. It's not your fault that you took some bad advice, but now you may have "flaired" the sleeve which will make it harder if not impossible to get it out now. If it does come out make sure to check the block, if it has a score mark from the sleeve it may start leaking around the head button from between the "sleeve" and "block" and you can't fix that.
