You need to get a new bearing or dust and dirt will get inside the motor and ruen it I can't remember the beaing size but it is the same as most big block front bearings. I will see what I can find but someone will post the size here before I get back i'm sure.

i just noticed it was one of your first posts so thought i would say welcome to the forum!! someone will have some answers for ya soon I'm sure!!

Yup thats the one otherwise a local shop that has bearings will have this one 607VV.

One key is to remove one seal and remove the factory grease as the oil in the fuel will sufficiently lube the bearing. This creates less drag on the engine and allows faster RPM pickup and higher rpms with less HP drop.

To remove bearing remove head, button, sleeve, then back plate, piston then crank. You may be able to tap it out with the correct size deep well socket from the inside but be carefully not to scratch the inside of the block toward the nose.

If this doesn't work you will need to remove the carb and bake it and it should then slide out.
