My new Shell F100

My F650 shell is cracked, I taped and glued, but i don't expect it to hold for long.

I'm so mad don't even wanna talk about this truck, every thing cracked, meaning the shell. From jumping over sand dunes. Think because of no support within the cab, all that force just cracked both ends. This Hpi brand is weaker than proline. I think I may just order Flux HP shell.

It's been awhile, but if memory serves me right the only shell worth getting were one that are .60 lexan. Most of those are from Proline. Heavier durability, lesser week points to deal with. Their are bodies that look great but provide very little protection. Stop to think how much the shell cost , painting it not to mention the time involved. It was a great looking scheme you had done with that body. Sorry to hear for the short term life.

The shell was about 30, 7 per paint, only purchased 1. So I bought another shell, GMC truck. I also bought a pack of special tape to strengthen the frame. I may buy the flux HP shell, for any rough bashing or jumping.
