Hey 88, Nice build for sure.
When I get carbonfiber parts, I like to sand all the sharpness off the milled edges. Then you can seal the exposed fiber with a bead of superglue.

This procedure really helps against finger cuts, chipping and cracking on the tvp's, ect.
Looking forward for the showroom finish.
keep on wrenchin, 88.

thanks guys, its slow coming right now, everything is picking up cutting back on garage time. lol. truck looks sweet soul! i cant wait to experience it myself. i almost have my mid tank sorted, I'm just wishing i would have went a different route, but oh well if i don't like it i can always change/upgrade right.

hey dude....some more motivation for ya. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u_oc7nCKdQE

i'm about to start tuning her in about 4 more tanks....i did 3 yesterday. that build id looking sick man.......almost time to hear the lightening & tunder (i know i spelled it wrong). what you saw was a small bit of what's to come.....and don't think that extended chassis is gonna hold her down! how's the weather in Canada? LOL.....i hear your part has thunderstorms coming.............................hahahahahhahahahahahahhahahahahhahahhahaha.

Looking good dude!

Yo Solja that engine ripps hard!!! and that custom exhaust sounds sickk!
Wondering though, what wheelie bar is that? have you got any closer pics?
It looks really stable when wheeling.
Sorry, i don't mean to thread jack...

Well my girlfriends been working lately so that mean i get to slip to the garage for a bit. its almost ready, i should have it ready to rip for the first time this weekend. I did a different mid tank then i planned. i like the tank being right at the front, however i don't like how high it is, and how close it is to the shock towers. ill run it and see what happens tho. basically all assembled now, just a few little things to do.

SWEEEET!!!

Looking great Scott!!! :10::10::10:

Once your done could you post some pics of the FLM and PRC trucks together. They both look awsome!!!

i don't think i have seen a fuel tank mounted like that... Looks really good but i can see why your concerned. It seems like a lot of us have our trucks at this sort of point but have not run them yet! When are you hoping to have it ready?

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! NICE BRO!!! which i could come to Canada this weekend!!..........make sure you give the first impression of that engine& pipe!!😛icco::Radioactive:Jay and Bobdance kittypiccogirlrctruckhammertime

thanks guys. i should be running this weekend if i can find the time. got go two hours away and split wood for my Grandpa all day tomorrow, and sundays are usually busy too, so ill have to wait and see. it should be ready to run this weekend anyways. lol

Ok guys, i finally got it all together. theres a few things I'm going to change yet, the orange fuel tubing will go for some clear stuff. I only had orange left tho....Also right now i have the rx battery zip tied to the chassis underneath. i like the lcg idea, but i have a rush box on the way if this doesnt hold up. other then that its just a few screws to change and loctite, zip ties for the pipe, and its start up time! Tomorrow will be the big day, knock on wood.
heres some pics! (excuse the glue job, i don't really care enough about these old tires, so this was a patch job. i got some new tires in the mail)

Decided to go with the hellfire shafts that many have been using lately, and I like the look. nice level arms should help with handling.

I'm thinking a little more toe in might be in order. what do you guys think? i have no gauges for adjusting but it looks a little much.

can't reallly see the toe angle unless you take a pic from the top-down. You might like negative camber tho.

Its looking really good! I'm very jealous! whats the total weight of your truck???

Not to sure, i don't have a scale that does it, ill take it out to my parents someday, they got a meat scale. I'm kinda curious myself.

Looks clean and ready to tear up the road and dirt.

ya it wont be this clean for long I'm sure

sick build love the truck

Thanks bud

Nothing wrong with keeping it clean. Even after a muddy day I still take the time to clean my trucks. It takes a little time but my trucks love me for it and my wife does not give me a hard time when I bring them into the house:resp:

Clean <-- I meant. I've seen some people throw parts on the trucks with the wires running all over the place, half decent parts, basically it looks like poop.

Well guys i started break in yesterday. I gotta thanks Robin and Bank a ton. both stand up guys. i made mention in the shout that i was about to start break in and robin offered to coach me thru his process to do so. so after a very informative phone call i felt i was ready to fire it up. It started on the third pull after a pre heat, but the idle was set to high, so i adjusted and refired. everything went well, temps came up to 200-230 no problems. i had another little issue i mentioned in the shout box and bank offered to coach me thru it on the phone. Can't beat this forum fellas! It's more then just a place to talk about savages you meet some stand up friends along the way! Thanks for all the advice guys, ill keep you posted on break in and hopefully get a video when I'm not so frantic with a screwdriver.

just a tuning error. Nice to have the experienced offer there input. nothing major tho. and thanks guys, I'm happy with the end result!
