I'm in no hurry at all Matt. I'm draggin this build out for a while ( i have no fuel yet) lol
I did the font end tonight. Set up the RSC, and installed HPI sway bars. I used Lunsford hinge pins for a little more strength. Also used Bullet proof diffs with the Flux composite cases. My carbon fiber i cut worked out nice, everything lined up and fit in like it was supposed to so that was a plus. The rest of the time i Just fiddled with my steering linkage trying to figure out the best way for it to work. I think i finally found the way I'm gonna keep it. Ill get pics of that tomorrow with the good camera.

trip those pieces for tighter steering!. don't go too much without CVDS or they'll pop out

O no. I saw this after I posted... I was on page 1. I hope you didnt go to far or your going to have bone issues up the butt bud..
 
yea i just received mine.. and i had to grind a crazy amount off... without trimming they are worse than stock!!!!!! Also are you going to use the second inner hole for turning or are you going to move the tie rod to the oustide??? does it offer better steering? If so... i might drill another hole as i only have one single hole! like so...

soulja.... those look great! Are they as strong as the stock flux ones? If they are... anyone running the RSC should use these just in case...
 
i doubt there as strong as the flux ones. the SHD bones are great! i don't think i went to far, i never popped a bone before on the old set up (hehe) so I'm hoping its ok with the new one. only thing i changed is the servo.

don't thing they're as strong a FLux ones bcuz they're not as thick....but i never broken a dogbone on any savage i had whether it be flux, cvds, regular or hardened and i've had about 10 savages! (including and ERCM Picco Savage!)

Got a little bit more done tonight.
For the rear, i pulled the bullet proof diff apart, shimmed it and filled it with 10,000wt. Installed the sway bars, RSC, lunsford hinge pics, PRC wing mount, mounted to the Hot bodies kit. it all worked excellent together, and i can proudly say its my first wing on one of my savages. lol.

Not much done, but i just got 4 gallons of Byrons in the mail, so i need to step the pace up!

i'm about to start tuning her in about 4 more tanks....i did 3 yesterday. that build id looking sick man.......almost time to hear the lightening & tunder (i know i spelled it wrong). what you saw was a small bit of what's to come.....and don't think that extended chassis is gonna hold her down! how's the weather in Canada? LOL.....i hear your part has thunderstorms coming.............................hahahahahhahahahahahahhahahahahhahahhahaha.
