ok to start of it is about 5 or 6 gallons old only taken apart 3 times to change the owb and then i would always seal it back up i always have ran it with a nice smoke trail but she stars usually starts 15 pull after being primed i have no clue why she hates me i have no money for a new one till september so want this one to last as long as possible :axial:

any ideas why would really help also i broke a alum clutch shoe in 1/2 after 1/2 a gallon but i am running terra pins on 20/47 gearing i then i destroyed 1 set of nylons ones nothing is left

you have a gearing issue not a clutch issue. knock that down to a 17 or 18 & add some aluminum or dynamite max life.

if your lookin to tweak top end, then get your mill modded for more rpm (give you a larger gain) or put in a 3 speed tranny with high speed 3rd gear (give you minimal gain).

Hard to say man. I had an axial I got used and put 7 gallons thru myself. When she lost her pinch it was hard to start when warm but started right up cold. It is so much easier to diagnose a tuning problem if we can hear it at least. I would guess a low end needle problem. Can you record it running ?

I have a brand new axial that I'm going to break in very soon. i hope this doesnt happen to me and i hope your mill will start running better. And like Freddy said get some aluminum or dynamite max lifes. I have max lifes and mugen 1.0 mm springs and love them.

Id start simple, glow driver... is it clean and in working order??? If its a clamp on id blame it first, then plug. Then tare down and check pinch.

I would not touch the mid needle. I left mine stock. Some say 1/4 in from factory and leave it tight there. I put a touch of high temp rtv right over mine. Just my 2 cents. Good luck.
