Could the MSN being too lean cause my truck to stall when going full throttle and letting off the throttle? I accidentally turned it instead of the low speed but have since returned everything to the factory positions and am going to restart the tuning process. Is the factory postion for MSN on the k5.9 flush with the carb body like the LSN? Anybody know?

Could that cause my stalling problem? Or I was thinking that maybe the LSN being too rich could cause this? When the RPMs come down suddenly the LSN is feeding too much fuel and flooding the motor?

Problem found! One of the clutch shoes was not seating properly and rubbing the CB I guess. At first galnce they seemed to be OK but one was just not seating the last 1/16th of an inch or so unless I pushed it down. When it would come down from high RPM's it wsa still touching the CB killing the engine. Unfortunately, I think I got my carb way out of adjustment trying to figure out why it was dieing and yesterday I couldn't even start it. So now I'm starting all over again trying to get this thing running.

it may have been hanging up but thats not killing the mill. the tranny has a 1 way bearing in it... it free spools as you come off throttle. My modded 1 speed tranny does not and it will not kill the mill. acts as engine braking.

If my fuel mixture wasn't right this would not cause the motor to bog enough to stall it when it transitioned from high rpms to idle then? HPI suggested checking the clutch and that is what I found, so I assumed that was my problem but if it wasn't I'm still going to be starting from scratch trying to get this thing to run so hopefully I can get something resolved with this thing, I'm starting to get desperate to drive this thing again LOL! Now, where is that FedEx guy with my parts???
