Modding Nitro Heli Mills

i do not see anyone doing this.

O.S. & Novarossi nitro mills are very common in the nitro heli world. The mills look very similar to our land nitro mills.

Can you guys mod these heli motors to give more economical fuel consumption?

Average run-time on a nitro heli is around 5-6 minutes. a minute is a very-long time in heli flight.

I know I can. Aircraft and boat engines run a completely different mod and that's where I started when there was only 3 of us doing it. Andy Brown did Boat engines, Ron Paris modified car engines, I modified aircraft engines. We had a mutual respect between us that is not found now days when it comes to stepping on others toes.

Ok, this is great info to have, thanks for posting Rick. I met a lot of nitro-heli owners at a recent fun-fly and, as run time always seems to come up in a conversation, i asked if any of them had their mills modded & they were like, "huh?"

Now i can link them to this thread, get some good conversation / awareness on this topic going :rcheli:
