Would this motor have enough power to run a Savage x? I want to get into racing, right now I have a revo (sold my x ss a while back) but people are telling me the revo can't hold up to that kind of power unless I buy the robinson transmission gears which requires me to buy the revo 3.3 transmission cases and also, they are saying i would need the buggy differential conversion kit which is about $150 so all in all to get the revo to handle this power I would be spending about $400 to handle the power of this motor or else sell the motor for something less powerful. I am debating on trading my revo for an x ss that was offered to me but i just ordered the integy shocks for the revo and if i trade my cf chassis to a guy i can get even more hop ups and my revo is already not stock at all.. I just can't decide what to do but I do want to race and that is the problem. Sorry for the babbling but it is hte only way I could figure out how to say it all lol.

Thanks for the help in advance.

Also, the motor is a bump start motor, would that work on a savage?

Bump start won't work on a savage....have to use either pull start or roto start.

A savage isn't the best racer out but with a few changes it can be just as good as the others out. Sorry I don't know anything about the motor
